Summer Latchkey @ CMA!

Looking for something fun for the kids to do this summer?  Hurry and reserve one of the remaining spots today!  Enrollment forms are available in the office and the library.  Students must have completed Kindergarten and/or not turned 13 by June 1st.  Enrollment is open to ALL Wichita Public School students.  We will be open from Tuesday, May 27 through Friday, July 25, closed July 4th.  Our hours will be from 6:30am – 6:00pm weekdays. The cost is a $10 registration fee (due with enrollment) and $16/day (for 6+ hours) with a minimum requirement of paying for 2 days a week.  There is not a summer food program at CMA, so students will need to eat breakfast before they come and bring a sack lunch. We will provide two snacks a day. (am & pm)  We will be taking one field trip a week.  Children in attendance that day (usually Thursdays) will attend the field trip and be charged a $15 activity fee, which covers the bus, trip, and lunch!!!

Welcome to McAuliffe K-8 Academy
Christa McAuliffe was a public school teacher from New Hampshire who was selected to become the first teacher in space.  Her energy and love for students and teaching made her an outstanding educator.   The possibilities are endless as to how we can incorporate her character traits,  love of science, and helping students make real life connections with the skills they are learning in our classrooms.
For a more-detailed biography of Christa McAuliffe, click on the Bio link on the left side of our page.

Christa McAuliffe is located just north of Pawnee on 143rd Street East.
